Ralph Louis White, 59, of Graham, passed away on Friday, August 25 th , 2023,
at Alamance Regional Medical Center. A lifelong resident of Graham, he was
the son of the late Richard A. (Dick) and Marie D. White, both deceased. In
addition to his service as Marine, he was actively involved with the United
States Air Force Auxiliary, Civil Air Patrol as a cadet and as a senior member
obtaining the rank of Major. He was formerly employed in the automotive
component industry at GKN for over 30 years and worked for Prescient as a
heavy-duty forklift driver and instructor. Ralph loved his country and was a
fierce patriot. He loved the outdoors and spending time around the campfire
after a day hunting in the woods. To his friends, he was loyal and enjoyed
spending time with them and his family, especially his nieces and nephews,
and his beloved cat, Murphy.
He is survived by his two brothers; Bill and wife Leslie (Deceased) of
Springfield Virginia; and Jim. In addition, he is survived by 4 nephews and 3
nieces along with numerous cousins from both sides of his parent’s families.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 10 th , 2023, 1 PM at
Phillips Chapel Church, 2362 Brucewood Rd, Haw River, NC 27258. A
Graveside Service with military honors will be held immediately following in
the church cemetery. The family will receive friends and visitors starting at
1230 immediately preceding the service.
